A rare find in this condition

Vital Statistics; Footprint 20" x 22" plus table movement. Max height 56" Smaller Herbert Surface Grinders are a rare find, especially in this condition. The tool does the job of much larger machines whilst taking up very little space. It is very easy to operate and maintain whilst being relatively easy to move around in one piece. The machine is in very good condition and has a decent coat of paint. It came from a small toolroom and very accurate, it can grind down to tenths of a thou'. It has no damage and has been converted to 240V single phase by the fitting of a brand new motor. Tecalamit 'One Shot' lubrication is fitted. The motor is temporarily wired up for demonstration only. It will need a proper on-off switch and permanent wiring. The magnetic table (10” x 5”) and a diamond dresser are included in the sale. The machine is only for sale because I bought an Eagle, having the space to fit it into, although it is fair to say the Herbert does just as good a job.
